100 free credits a month, and a model benchmark
Free accounts now get 100 credits every month on top of the free list, and a new benchmark names the best, middle and cheapest model for each job.
Every Free account now gets 100 credits each month, on top of the month’s free list. They work like any other credit: spend them on an image with the best model, a clip, a voice-over or a song. They arrive at the start of the month, expire at its end, and a verified email address is needed to receive them. Open the account menu from your picture to see them beside the free list.
Which model for which job
With fifty-odd models in the app, the hard part is knowing which one to pick. The new benchmark page answers it job by job: photorealistic people, anime, product photos, posters with text, a person speaking to camera, voice-over, songs and more. For each job it names three models: the best result, a strong middle, and the cheapest that still does it well, with what each costs in credits and a sentence on why.
The ranking is written by Kuro’s editors from using the models, and the date at the top says when it was last reviewed. Every credit figure is read from the same rate card the app charges.
Your agent reads it too
When you connect an agent such as Claude or ChatGPT to Kuro, it now chooses from the same list. A picture starts on the best model for the job. For a clip, it asks you once whether you want the best, middle or cheapest tier, shows the three prices, and remembers your answer.
