Optimize
The feed is watched on mute.
Add subtitles listens to a clip, times every word to the speech and burns the captions into the picture — in a preset style or one you tune yourself.
How it works
- 1
Bring a clip
Upload one or pick a clip you generated — anything with an audio track that can be decoded.
- 2
Pick a style
Five presets, from one word at a time to a whole sentence, with a console behind them for the type, size, colour and grouping.
- 3
Post it anywhere
The clip comes back as an MP4 with the captions burned into the picture, so they play in every feed, embed and re-upload.
What's inside
Burned in, not a track.
5 styles
Pop, Clean, Karaoke, Boxed and One word — each one press away, and each tunable down to the outline, the highlight and the position.
Word by word
Every word is timed to the speech as it is said: Pop lights the word being spoken and Karaoke sweeps it gold to white.
Part of the picture
No .srt beside the file and no caption track to switch off — the words show wherever the clip plays.
A console behind the presets
Font, weight, size, case, fill, highlight, outline or plate, position from the edge: every part of a caption is a control.
From your agent too
Ask Claude or ChatGPT to caption a clip over MCP, and the finished MP4 lands in your library.
Questions
Which clips can it caption?
Any clip with an audio track, 5 minutes or shorter, that can be decoded. A silent clip or a longer video is refused, and a refusal is free.
Can I edit the captions afterwards?
No. There is no transcript editor: the run comes back finished, with the words and their timing frozen into the picture. A change is a second run.
Is this the right tool for accessibility subtitles?
No. A burned-in caption cannot be switched off or read as a track. For broadcast, compliance, or anything that needs a switchable track, use a subtitling workflow outside the studio.
Will they show with the sound off?
Yes — that is the point of burning them in. Feeds autoplay muted and most players ignore caption tracks; burned in, the words travel with the picture. The trade is that you cannot turn them off or translate them later.
Every clip reads better with the words on.
