Assistants now see your own provider keys
Assistants now know which of your provider keys pays for each model, so a funded fal or Replicate key gets used instead of being ruled out by low credits.

If you have added your own fal, Replicate, Runware, Siray, Higgsfield or Sunra key to Kuro, the work that key can run costs you no credits. The Kuro app always knew that. The assistants connected to your account, such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, did not: they read your credit balance, saw it was low, and told you a model was out of reach while your fal account had money on it.
Every answer now says who pays
When an assistant checks your balance, compares models or prices a request, the answer now says who pays for each one: one of your keys, this month’s free allowance, or your credits. It follows the order you set in Settings → Agents under When an agent creates. A model your key runs is ready to use even with no credits left, and the assistant can tell you what your provider will charge for it. For Runware and Siray it also sees what is left on that account.
When a key runs out of money
If your provider refuses a generation because your account there has run out of balance, Kuro marks the key Out of funds in Settings → Provider keys and stops sending work to it for half an hour. The assistant does not quietly pay with your credits instead: it stops and asks you whether to top up or to pay with credits this once. Once you have topped up, press Check again under the key and it is back in use straight away.
