The everyday half of GPT Image 2.5, and the one to start on. It is the model to reach for when the prompt is a set of instructions rather than a description: three named objects in stated positions, a sign that has to read as particular words, a layout with a specific hierarchy. It renders small lettering legibly, which most of this catalog is still bad at, and it takes seven reference images across seven aspect ratios.

The quality setting is where the money is, and it reaches further here than it did on GPT Image 2. On “low” a render is 1 credit. On “auto”, the default, it is 11. Above that sit two rungs the older model never had: “xhigh” at 19 credits and “max” at 42.5. Find the composition on “low”, settle the layout, and only then spend a rung that costs forty times as much.

Flare and Sunburst are priced identically, rung for rung, so choosing between them is never about money. Flare is the faster one. Move across when an edit here keeps taking something else with it.
