The heavier of the two GPT Image 2.5 builds, and it exists for one job: an edit that has to land exactly. Hand it a picture, ask for one thing to change, and the identity, the composition and the lighting around that thing stay where they were. That is a different skill from making a good image out of nothing, and it is the whole reason to wait longer for this one.

Its rate card is Flare's, rung for rung: 1 credit on “low”, 11 on “auto”, 19 on “xhigh”, 42.5 on “max”. Same seven references, same seven aspect ratios. Nothing about choosing Sunburst costs extra — it costs time.

Reach for it when an edit on Flare keeps dragging something along with it: the face drifts, the background re-renders, text you never mentioned changes wording. If you are still looking for a composition rather than correcting one, you are paying a wait for a strength you are not using, and Flare will tell you the same thing sooner. Ratio coverage is narrower than Nano Banana's on both, so if the shape is unusual neither of these is the model, however well they follow instructions.
