Use Kuro inside Claude: connector, skills, first job

Add Kuro to Claude as a custom connector, sign in once, and ask for pictures, clips, voice-overs and talking heads without leaving the chat.

Kuro runs inside Claude as a connector: Claude calls Kuro’s tools, the work lands in your Kuro library, and you never leave the conversation. It is the same endpoint every agent uses, so anything Claude makes is in the app when you open it.

Other agents connect to the same endpoint; the agents page has the setup for each one.

Add the connector

In Claude on the web or the desktop app:

  1. Open Customize → Connectors.

  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.

  3. Name it Kuro, paste this URL, and click Continue:

    https://api.meetkuro.com/mcp

  4. Claude detects that Kuro signs in with OAuth. Keep what it proposes, including its recommended OAuth client, and click through to Add.

  5. Kuro asks you to sign in and shows exactly what Claude may do: read your library, generate, write recipes, edit storyboards. Approve it once; the connection stays until you remove it.

This link opens the same dialog with the name and the URL already filled in.

A Free plan holds one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds Kuro once under Organization settings → Connectors, and each member then clicks Connect next to it under Customize → Connectors.

In a conversation, the + button at the bottom left of the chat opens Connectors, where Kuro can be switched on or off for that chat. Connectors reach Claude’s mobile apps too.

Working in a terminal? Use Kuro in Claude Code covers the one-command setup. For other agents, see Codex and ChatGPT.

What Claude learns when it connects

Claude reads each tool’s own description, so the rules travel with the tools:

  • It asks before it spends. For an open idea it pitches a few concepts first. For a concrete one it names the format, the model and the price in one line, and it can price a whole plan before starting anything.
  • It reads a model before using it. Every model carries a guide: how its prompt wants to be shaped, what it cannot combine, what it gets wrong. Ask for “the cheapest” and it compares prices across the catalog.
  • It reuses before it makes. Your Subjects and your library come first.

A first job: a talking head from a script

Paste a script and say who speaks:

Make a talking-head video of @ana reading this script. Cheapest option, vertical.

Claude prices the plan, records the voice, cuts it into lines of at most fifteen seconds at the pauses, animates each line from the same portrait so the face never drifts, and joins them in order. Ask for captions at the end.

Skills for Claude Code and Cowork

Kuro also ships skills: written procedures for whole jobs, such as directing a film, remaking a video’s format, planning a week of posts or making a talking head. Claude loads one when the task matches it. They come in the Kuro plugin, next to the same connector.

Remove it

Remove the connector under Customize → Connectors. To cut every agent off at once, revoke the connection in Kuro under Settings → Connections.

The connector steps follow Anthropic’s custom connector documentation.

Everything here runs in the studio.

Every model named on this page is one you can pick from the composer.
