Questions
What resolution are the images?
The video's own full resolution, the right way up.
How are thumbnails suggested?
The tool looks at 32 frames across the video, skips black, white and blurry ones and near-duplicates, and shows the six sharpest.
PNG or JPG?
PNG keeps every pixel exactly. JPG is much smaller and fine for a thumbnail. YouTube takes either, under 2 MB for most uploads.
Does my video get uploaded?
No. Frames are read in your browser, on your device.
In Kuro a still becomes a clip: drop the frame into the first-frame slot and describe the motion.
Animate this frame
Kuro opens the clip composer. Drop the frame you saved into the first frame.
