# Seedance 2.0 Fast

ByteDance · Shorts · standard

Seedance 2.0 tuned for turnaround rather than for price.

## What it costs

- 5s · 480p · from a prompt or image: 29.5 credits (≈ $0.70)
- 5s · 480p · from a video: 33.5 credits (≈ $0.80)
- 5s · 720p · from a prompt or image: 62.5 credits (≈ $1.48)
- 5s · 720p · from a video: 71 credits (≈ $1.69)

Dollar figures are approximate, at the Starter plan's rate of $19.00 for 800 credits.

## What it takes

- **Aspect ratios**: 16:9 4:3 1:1 3:4 9:16 21:9
- **Resolutions**: 480p 720p
- **Duration**: 4–15 seconds
- **Reference images**: 9
- **Reference videos**: 3
- **Reference audio**: 3
- **Last frame**: Accepted

## When to reach for it

The fast variant of the 2.0 family, capped at 720p and carrying the same nine reference images, three reference videos and fifteen-second ceiling as the base model. What it buys is time to first frame, which matters when you are iterating on motion and each attempt is a decision point.

It is not the cheap variant. That is Mini. A five-second take here is more expensive than the same take on base 2.0 at the same resolution, which is the trade: you are paying for the wait, not saving on the render. If cost rather than turnaround is what governs, base 2.0 at 480p is the better tool.

Reach for it in the middle of a session where you are chaining takes through final frames and the round-trip is the thing slowing you down. Reach for base 2.0 when you need 1080p or 4K, and for 2.5 when a scene has more subjects than nine references can hold.

## How to prompt Seedance 2.0 Fast

Seedance 2.0 Fast takes the same brief as Seedance 2.5 and is the member to pick when turnaround matters more than the last increment of finish.

## Guides that cover it

- [Two pictures, fifteen seconds: the first-and-last-frame method](https://meetkuro.com/guides/first-and-last-frame.md): Make the opening frame and the closing frame yourself, hand a video model both, and let it fill the middle. Most models take a last frame. What it buys.

## Seedance 2.0 Fast is one pick in the composer.

Every model in this catalog runs from the same prompt bar, priced in the same credits.
