# set_recipe_cover

**Set recipe cover**

Set a recipe's cover from a ready generation you made (an image for an image recipe, a clip for a video one — the clip's own poster is used), or remove it with `generation_id: null`. publish_recipe refuses a row with no cover. `before_generation_id` supplies the input half of a guided recipe's before/after diptych and is optional.

## Scope

- `recipes.write` — Writes the account's own recipes; every save is private.

## Behaviour

- **Writes**: Creates or changes items in the caller's own account.
- **Can delete or overwrite**: Can delete, overwrite, cancel or withdraw something the caller already has, so a host should confirm it.
- **Stays in the account**: Stays inside the caller's private Kuro account: any media provider it calls acts on Kuro's account, and the result is visible to no one else.
