# image_to_prompt

**Read a picture into a prompt**

Write the prompt that would make a picture like this one, for an image model (model_id, or one the picture suits). image is a JPEG, PNG or WebP data URL, about 700 KB at most (scale it to 1024px first). Costs no credits; 30 reads a day. For a picture already in the account, its generation's prompt is the answer.

## Scope

- `generation.write` — Makes, edits, imports, shares and deletes media in the account.

## Behaviour

- **Read-only**: Reads the caller's own account and changes nothing.
- **Reaches outside**: Sends the picture to a vision model to read it.

What the tool's description says about credits, verbatim:

- Costs no credits; 30 reads a day.
